Kodai

I do not remember the reason for which we fought at 9:00 pm that night on 13th April 2011. Prem locked the door and we stepped outside fighting. I said "It is not late now, I will go back to home, I am not coming with you, you go alone." Then we boarded bus to Hosur and landed there. Since we had enough time for the bus, we had cofee and chat in a hotel. A fight for us always settles down in few minutes. Waiting outside axis bank, we sat on the stair case, we played some games with country names.

Then the KSRTC bus came and took us. The night went sleepy and early in the morning the bus was stopped at a passby hotel for refershing. After that started the journey upwards on the hill with nice scenic beauty in both sides. At around 9:00 am, we reached the destination 'Kodaikanal'. It was our honeymoon trip. Though i sound like as if we went to singapore, kodaikanal is no less for enjoyment. Mainly because it was our first trip together 'after wedding'.

The resort car came and picked us to the stay place. We took bath and had breakfast. The tour organizer told us that it was free day and we can roam wherever we liked to. We went out to the lake, went for boat ride. It was so good that we enjoyed it a lot. We had ice cream inside the boat. Prem said "If this moment freezes, we stay inside the boat in the middle of lake, this ice cream never melts down and water becomes still.. it would be very nice". After the boating, prem took horse ride. I was very much afraid for that. Then we hired cycles and went round kodai and enjoyed it very much. We had camped during the right time and right season. Not much crowd was there and climate was really amazing. Le climate est beau. :)

We then went to resort to have some rest. In the evening, we walked down to Croaker's walk. An awesome view point, enjoyed the mist, valley view and hot omlete. We bought some glass dolls and glass earings there. We were there till 7 and then walked down along the streets of Kodaikanal. It was a busy town, very neat and clean. Plastic was completely banned there and all the shops used papers. We bought jacket for prem, chocolates and some spices and then went onto our room.

The next morning, we got ready and had breakfast in our room. Then a cab took us to kodai tour. Again we went to croaker's walk, bryant's park, palm forest, sheep yard, hill temple and few other nice places. We enjoyed taking photos and ate all roadside stuff heavily. The next day, another cab took us with a group of people to trekking, church, dolphin nose, falls, lion's cave and other spots. During the trip we became friends with a north indian couple who toured with us both days. The trekking part was very tedious and strainful, but somehow we completed it exhausted.

At 6:00 pm on 16th April, we boarded bus to Bangalore and it was the end of a 3 day fun, enjoyment and ever cherishable happiness.
