Ain El Soukhna, Egypt

It was May 18th 2010. I had to leave to Egypt with my colleagues for Glass Tests. Just 5 days before, Prem got relieved from SG and left Chennai. I was already missing him so much. Now i had to leave the country and i don't know when i will return back. Also if i can call to my parents and prem was a question. Even if i can speak, i cannot be for everyday. I was feeling very lonely then.
The journey began and we reached Egypt. The place was good and almost similar to India. Climate, roads, people were same as in Chennai. Work was keeping me busy all the time. I enjoyed it too. Other than my work as reporter, i worked for float and lehr rest of the day. I was calling to my parents and prem everyday through skype. Thanks to skype. :) We visited the pyramids, musuem, nile, khan el khalili, porto sokhna. It was very good and i enjoyed the hotel beach so much. Just that i missed prem all the time.

Food was horrible there with non veg for all the meals. Managed by eating vegetables and sometimes cooking noodles and rice with colleagues. It was good fun.

Everything was going well until the monster (so called boss) came from India to Egypt. He is one full nonsense fellow, came there just to visit the pyramids. There was one other french fellow, Michel, who complained that i was not working upto his expectation, i am not expressive and communicative, finally i am doing nothing. The monster took the oppurtunity, rebuked and warned me. He also said that they are not going to pay for me since i am doing nothing. I could not control my tears not because they won't pay me, but i am being seen a worthless. But i knew i am not, i am better than everyone of them in the group. Just because i am girl, these men didn't accept me equally to them. It was then i started to have a hatred and aversion towards men.

It was tears that filled my days afterwards and i missed my home and prem too much then. I was waiting for going back to home. I was asked to stay there for one more week, but i said i need to go back and left with 3 others to India on June 19th . Back to home :)
